Danesholme Road Bus Stop This location is dark and would fit into the aesthetic of our trailer. Shots here could be used in fast paced sequences to add more tension Art Room CBA This location is good for shots of the protagonist drawing, the setting shows art and reinforces the age of the character. The lighting is bright and effective. Art Storeroom CBA This location has slightly worse lighting as there is no natural light in the room which gives the image a yellowed effect. If tempered properly in editing then it could be very effective. The cramped nature of the room will help create tension.

Strauss's Theory of Binary Opposites Levi Strauss's theory of opposites is the best of the three main theories to apply to this trailer. The trailer shows use of night and day through it mainly being set outside where it is more susceptible to the changes in light. There is also the opposites of humans and nature (or humans vs nature) at the start when the family are looking at the tree line and think of it as a good place to call home but don't know whats going to happen in the trees or surrounding area. The trailer also uses love and hate when the sister is playing peekaboo with the child obviously showing love from its family then the mother later on saying 'you've cursed this family' which is showing the family starting to hate what he's become. The trailer also has a theme of good and evil as the boy is shown as the evil that the good must face and the evil is satanic whereas the good (the family) work hard and are using prayer and religion to

Every response I received to this question was for the 16-18 age bracket. This means that this is the age I will want to be targeting for my trailer. The response to this question was 50% Male and 50% Female showing no clear trend as too one gender prefering horror films over the other. This shows that my audience would be drawn most by a good soundtrack and/or sound effects. This will be reflected in my trailer as my soundtrack will be written by myself and so shall be tailored to the trailer. My audience would also be drawn in by a plot that is easy to understand without the trailer being too narrative. My audience would also like to see information about stars in the film and acknowledgements of directors and the production company. This shows that my target audience does at a minimum watch horror films every now and then. This means that this is a good age to target at as there should be a large number of
